LINES

Braided lines are a must for cod fishing.  The depth we are trolling and the constant changes in environment means we need the best possible information passed through the rod tip.  This can only be achieved with the use of super lines.  For ten years now I have been using Fins PRT range.  This stuff is incredibly strong, and it's thin diameter allows our lures to reach their optimum depths.  We simply tie it off with a double of sixty centimetres and away we go.  Size is of personal preference however I wouldn't suggest the use of anything less than twenty pounds.
