JD LURES

These exciting new products hail from Tasmania.  Jamie Harris set out making his range of lures some 15 years ago as a hobby.  He went into business marketing his product around four years ago.  His lures vary from 50mm suspending minnows, through to the flagship, his 150mm Superbug.  His cod lures include the 85mm Super Bugs, 140mm Pythons and 150mm Super Bugs.

We trialled some of these lures last season and found them to be first class.  The lures are moulded urethane and are made up using high quality hooks and tow points.  While still in the early stages, these lures are sure to be a huge hit among big cod trollers everywhere.

The 140mm Pythons are one of the deepest diving lures I have ever trolled!  If you are after a deep diving lure capable of landing the biggest cod in the river then check them out.  They truly are first class.  My largest cod to date - one hundred pounds - was taken on a red and black 140mm Python, proving they will handle almost anything.
