COD MUSCAT

Around four years ago Bill Caracatsanoudis - of Robinvale Wines - came up with a novel idea to support the local angling club in its fish restocking program.  His original concept was to market a fish shaped bottle of liqueur which held a bardi grub inside.  Unfortunately in today's climate this didn't sit well with the insurance companies.

He eventually scrapped the bardi grub, and went instead with his raisin liqueur Cod Muscat.  The uniquely shaped bottles have given a huge boost to the local fishing, as for each bottle sold, four dollars is donated to the ACE Angling Club.  This in turn is generously matched dollar for dollar by the fantastic Euston Club.

Together with the Euston Club, the ACE Angling club have released in excess of one hundred thousand native fish into the Robinvale area.  This no doubt this has contributed greatly to the excellent fishing the area produces.

Although the local angling club is now in recess, an opportunity still exists to support the fish restocking program by purchasing some of these fantastic keep sakes.

Remember, every bottle of Cod Muscat purchased sees eight dollars donated to native fish restocking!
