THE CODSEEKER
Murray Cod are my passion, some would say they are my life. My obsession for catching and releasing them on lures started some ten years ago on an annual fishing trip to Nangiloc on the mighty Murray River. My great mates and I began trolling for Cod on this trip and had immediate success in catching them. Our very first Cod caught was a respectable 42 pound fish. The Cod was caught by good mate Andrew Murley on a black and green Size 1 Stumpjumper. From that moment on the obsession was born. Each and all of us had become hooked on luring Cod and the bug had hit hard. Whether we were driving four hundred kilometres to catch them, or an hour up the road to buy lures, the mighty Murray Cod were never far from our minds. This obsession for targeting Murray Cod on lures has never wavered, and it is for that very reason I am bringing you this website. Unlike other fishing sites, this one will be dedicated totally to catch and release of our greatest freshwater fish.
